In collaboration with S.N.D.T Women’s University, MUNA observed Human Rights Day on Friday, 10 December 2004 at 10:15am at Patkar Hall, Mumbai.

The Chief Guest was Mrs. Justice Sujata Manohar, Member National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi.

The Guest of Honour was Prof. Rupa Shah, Vice Chancellor, SNDT Women’s University.

The Guest Speakers were: Mr. Subhash Avate, Special Inspector General of Police, State Human Rights Commission and Mr. Gopinath T. Menon, State Representative, UNICEF.

The Welcome Address was delivered by the President, Mrs. Pheroza J. Godrej and Ms. Mohini Mathur reported the activities of MUNA. Mr. K.M. Abraham, Dr. G.N.Chainani and Dr. Madhuri Chedda introduced the guests and Mr. A.A.Syed delivered the Vote of Thanks.

Refreshments were served after the function.
