About MUNYA:

Maharashtra United Nations Youth Association popularly known as (MUNYA) is the Youth Wing of Maharashtra United Nations Association.

Youth are the future. The young population today has the potential to change the world through their talents. They have a say and voice too. The youth needs a platform to share their views, expressions and concerns.
In order to engage the youth in the activities of United Nations, and to empower young people of our state the Hon. Secretary of MUNA Mr. Ashraf Ahmed Shaikh has taken the initiative and lead in the year 2007  to start a Youth Association under the banner of Maharashtra United Nations Association.

With the approval of Governing Council and General Body in the year 2009 MUNA setup its youth wing under the name of Maharashtra United Nations Youth Association (MUNYA).

We in MUNYA believe that youth, as civil society activists, have the power to be significant agents of positive change. You can take part in our efforts by building support for the UN in your own community. The MUNYA is an informal network of UN Youth Associations and UNA youth wings/sections from different parts of Maharashtra.
