The MAHARASHTARA UNITED NATIONS ASSOCIATION observed HUMAN RIGHTS Day-2009, on 10 December 2009 at Vatsalya foundation at Mahalaxmi, Vatsalya foundation is an organization which has dedicated itself for the development of marginalized children and worked for the rights of children in the state of Maharashtra.

In lieu of the theme ‘Embrace Diversity, End Discrimination” the Human Rights day was celebrated with the orphan and abandoned children of Vatsalaya Foundation.

The MUNA office bearers visited the foundation and distributed fruits, biscuits and chocolates to the children. MUNA has also invited world’s youngest magician Ms. Kruti Parekh who entertained the young children with the diverse magic tricks which resulted into immense joy and laughter to the children.
