Human Rights Day was observed on Wednesday 14 December 2005 at 5:30 pm at Walchand Hirachand Hall, IMC Mumbai.

The Topic for this programme was “TERRORISM: THE BANE OF HUMANITY”.

The Chief Guest for this programme was the Hon’ble Mr. Justice R.S.Mohite, High Court, Bombay.

The Guest of Honour was H.E.Mr.Eid Humood Al-Qahtani, Consul General of Bahrain The guest speakers were: H.E. Mrs. Irina K. Bashkivora, Dy. Consul-General of the Russian Federation; Mr. S. Balakrishnan, Chief of Bureau, Times of India. 

The Welcome Address was delivered by President, Mrs. Pheroza J. Godrej.  Ms. Mohini Mathur reported the activities of MUNA.  Mr. A.A.Syed delivered the Vote of Thanks.

Refreshments were served after the event.
